Vintage Romance….

Aren’t they a cute couple? Pity their story didn’t have a happy ending, but the start of it was beautiful enough….

And I have to plug this kit, because it’s got the most amazing ribbon elements. Fernlili always rocks ribbons. And I love the metal corner element too 🙂 Go and have a look at Rhubarb Pie for yourself!

Wedding-day-1923-FL-CT

Papers, elements and alpha from Rhubarb Pie from Fernlilis, Fonts used are JaneAusten and Baskerville Old Face. Created in Cs2.

So we seem to be surviving the School holidays. Only working one day this whole week which is really cool. I mean, the money is good, but time to myself, and to scrap, is even better!

Don’t forget to start the countdown – there are 2 new girls starting up at http://www.ScrapbookGraphics.com this week and I’m getting excited about it! Meanwhile, I bought the Basics collection there finally, after eyeing it off for a week and a half, and the monster download is nearly finished.

Bit random today, but that’s my week in a nutshell I think.

Oh, and have you seen “The World’s Fastest Indian” yet? You have to see it. You’ll laugh, and cry, and actually get really involved. At least I did. It’s funny, the movie was recommended to us by my Brother’s ex-wife’s new husband, who is 6’5″, has a goatee, rides a motorbike himself and plays competitive pool. And he was spot on the money. Great film. And, although he’ll hit me for saying it, if you want to meet my dad, then meet Bert Munro. Not quite all the way, but close enough. And I love him very very much. (Dad, not Bert lol). Nuff said.

Later all!
